God is who He is, not who you want Him to be.
We must be open to learning about who He is and not who we “make” Him to be.
We, most times, have a mindset of who we think God should be. Invariably, we need to be careful so that we don’t make a small letter “g” God out of what we want, feel, or think.
I pray that the Lord will reveal Himself to us more. Amen.
Prayer Points
1) Lord Jesus, thank you for seeking for me.
2) Lord forgive me for monopolizing the knowledge about You and Your grace, in Jesus name.
3) Open the eyes of my heart (let my spiritual understanding be opened) oh Lord, in Jesus name.
4) Father, help me to really see others as You see them, in Jesus name.
5) Lord, reveal Yourself to me as You want me to know You, in Jesus name.
6) Father, help me to proclaim You to the world as you want, in Jesus name.
